Dmitri watches a slurring flurry of buildings whizz past as his buggy traverses what remains of Yu-Keno, once the diminishing capital and pride of the northern territory, now reduced to a cascade of metal and rock. A city his army reduced. The LRM buggy rolls along the scorched streets of the city centres, armed with a MCP76, a primitive weapon, but a weapon nonetheless, operated by Dmitri, and a troop compartment containing the driver and three other fully armed militants. The buggy was set out to eliminate all hostile infantry forces, so the LRM, the strongest paramilitary force in the region, could gain full control of the city. Dmitri trains the gun on fleeing Northern Military soldiers, cutting them down in a line of fire. Dmitri and the soldiers were donned in high capacity Chaos armour, and has a dominating melee capability, so the occupants of the vehicle needn't worry about getting off and engaging in full out infantry fighting. Dmitri fires off one last shot before struggling to reload the bulky machine gun with another belt of ammunition, and then returns to spraying with the weapon. The vehicle swerves to hit another mutant square in the chest, sending the beast cartwheeling across in the air and slumping against an road division. When they rounded an intersection with flower-potted apartment buildings on either side, a sickening crack follows as the driver’s head disintegrates in all directions. "Sniper! Get out!" Dmitri quickly unstraps and stumbles from the buggy, trying his best not to look at the driver’s gruesome remains. He handles an LIT07, splaying suppressive fire at the sniper, encouraging him to back down. Dmitri finds cover behind a pillar of the Stock exchange building, firing away at the general direction of the shot. A flare of light whizzed across the battlefield and fried the sniper's hideout; Dmitri turns to find his partners operating a large RPG-31. He returns to the driver's seat of the buggy, rips the dog tag off his squad-mate’s headless corpse, and pulls it out of the vehicle. He climbs into the seat and signals the rest of the crew to climb aboard, then he trudges the buggy round the street, more warily and cautiously did. A giant chunk of fallen skyscraper lay along half of the road, debris and furniture spewing out of the windows along the uneven flooring. A treaded tank, according to Dmitri is an S-77G Cruiser, rolls into view from the darkness of the depths of the collapsed superstructure through a caved opening. "Hell, use the rocket launcher!" Dmitri whispers as he guides the buggy along in the cover of the shadows. The tank's underbelly explodes in a spectacular flash of light, pummels into the air and lands in the boulevard beside it. "Shoot it again!" He yells as the tank appeared only disabled, otherwise unharmed. Another flash of light and the tank erupts in a ball of flames. Dmitri guides the vehicle towards the burning wreckage, watching out for other hostiles. The two soldiers in the backseat hop out and proceeds toward the burning tank, guns trained on the hatch. The men inspect the tank, giving an all-clear signal to Dmitri, urging him to follow. "Blimey! The NTAF have armour in the city, and by the looks of it, a-Freaking-lot." He informs the soldiers as they scramble back onto the buggy, "We've got to head back to base, cut the mission short. The boss will get a load of fits when he finds out about this; probably we've to bring back a quick souvenir. Capture one of them, boys, and we're heading home to send ’em for interrogation." Dmitri drives a long round around the fallen structure, slamming into an excessive amount of mutants along the way. He makes sure not to run over any of the purple substance, even a sticky wad of the mineral could prove fatal. A body slams in front of the vehicle, its uniform forcing the buggy to stop short. Dmitri leaps off and kneels beside the figure, kicking the body twice to administer any response, then checks for pulse. He looks up at the window the man had fallen through, then winches the body over his shoulders, fireman-carrying it to his waiting vehicle. "NTAF soldier." He grinned at his crew, "Jackpot! Fell through a window and made our job so much easier. Back to squad base, boys!"
