Training Base is the fifth sector of PvE, complete with 5 main levels and one infinite level. The Poison Pit boss battle takes place here.
Architechture[]
This sector appears to be property of the military body Prototype-02 works for. There is a lower level, and four ramps that lead to an upper level, where less aliens appear. The player can camp by going up one of the ramps and shooting the aliens as they come up, however be aware that some aliens do spawn up the ramps.
New Enemies[]
No new enemies are introduced in this map. The only difference is that they're tougher than they were in Lair. Caution is recommended for survival.
Recommended Weapons[]
- Machine Guns: if you're camping, these weapons are best.
- Grenade Launchers: if you're not too far away from alien spawn points.
- Laser Guns: useful for speedy kills.
- Plasma guns: useful for the splash damage.
- RPGs: useful for camping.
