Greetings all, 

I am here to request upon a page that requires the prevention of glitches being performed in Star Warfare: Alien Invasion. On this page, there will be each map with specific spots of how to prevent someone getting into a wall that poses a unfair advantage to other players in the game. There will be pictures, with minor description of where the exact glitch is, showing where the glitch is being preformed along side with some detail of what spot to lookout for (Corners, sides, ect.) 

But in order for this page to happen, I come upon to request what you guys think about this idea since there is a rule on this wiki stating that you may not post anything that is an unfair playing advantage to other users in the game. The rule can be found here in the Glitches page.

Reason for edit: the Yes/No button poll that was here before can be voted on multiple times by logged out users, so there're issues with vote counting and identity verification for policy threads.

First off, sorry for the continuation: there was a administrative hitch with the previous thread.

Wikia Staff apparently wanted to see discussion more specific to "should the following user/s be demoted?" -- the previous thread was worded more like a policy of "when to demote" rather than whether specific users should have bureaucrats right removed, so only bureaucrats who had not made edits in over a year have been removed so far.

I'm going to word it a bit more specifically this time, but please keep in mind that I'm only listing specific names as necessary procedure.

Regarding the removal of bureaucrat rights from the following users, please vote either "for (yes)" or "against (no)".

You can have different votes for different users, but please make it clear what your votes are for which one (e.g. "No removal for Person B, Removal for everyone else"). Votes which do not mention a specific name will be read as a "for" or "against" for all listed bureaucrats.

Edit: removed ECSL from above list because he just stepped down voluntarily.

The Wikia Staff have stated that we don't need to leave this open for a full week since prior discussion was generally in favour of something being done, but I'll leave it open for at least 5 days or so before submitting the thread to Staff again.

Just a quick heads up: I've done quick sweep of the chatmod list and removed the mod status from accounts that have been mostly inactive for a few months. This is partly as a security measure if the accounts are hacked, as well as to get an idea of how many actual active mods we have around.

If you're a returning member who formerly had chatmod rights and wants them again, ask one of the current admins to check your user rights log.

Edit: actually, I think that wasn't the correct approach with the bureaucrats. If I'm remembering correctly, anything requiring Wikia Staff intervention would require a community vote.

So with that being said: for the second half of this post, I'm proposing that we vote to have the bureaucrat status removed from users who haven't made more than 20 (or so) edits within the last 6 months. Same reason as I've stated with the chatmods -- except that bureaucrat rights are considerably more powerful than chatmod rights (it's effectively the power to make people sysops -- including the user themselves).

Hey guys,

It just occurred to me that we've got a difficulty with the voting system now that wasn't as pronounced under the old Council system: we don't actually know how many active users there are who can vote, so we can't determine when the majority of eligible users have voted on any available issue.

Because we can never really know when we have more than 50% of the votes now, I'm suggesting a couple of options for the voting deadlines under the Community Voting system. Please specify which ONE you want to vote for:

• All votes are closed 1 week after creation
• All votes are closed 2 weeks after creation
• The user creating the vote has the option of choosing between 1 or 2 weeks
• Other (please specify)

If you change your mind at any point, please edit your first (voting) post to show what your current preference is rather than posting a second vote.

Note: even if we don't come to a conclusion here, I'll automatically assume all votes are closed if they've passed more than 1 month (that's honestly too long to get anything done properly).

Results:

• 2 weeks: 0
• OP may choose between 1 or 2 weeks: 3 (King Shoot, Aazelion, Hunterninjacat)

I'm considering making a clan, but if anyone has any objections, please respond. 

Blood Battalion is a clan that will be focused on Thunder armor, and will be mainly focused on PvP. It will probably do PvE to, but for now its purpose in PvP will be to go against the Hackers that have found ways to go in walls despite the patches (I've encountered many in the highest version), but also to even the lines between Pros and Noobs. For PvE.... I haven't quite decided yet, but I do think it will focus on Survival, though.

This is a quick overview of what the Community Voting board is for, and the past decisions leading up to the processes in here.

For former users returning to the wiki, this is the new system for making major decisions on the wiki after the Council was disbanded (discussion can be read here, while the actual vote on the matter can be read here).

Purpose

Proposals or requests which can affect the wiki as a whole are decided by a community vote on this board. Examples of such decisions include (but are not limited to) amendments to the Community Guidelines, enabling or disabling certain wiki features, and approval for a clan to be displayed on the Clans and info page.

Voting Eligibility

For a user to have a valid vote, they must satisfy the following conditions:

1. Be a registered user
2. Have made at least 500 edits
3. Have been on the wiki for at least 6 months

Voting Periods

The person who creates the voting topic may specify whether the poll will remain open for 1 or 2 weeks, subject to the following conditions:

1. If the OP has failed to choose between 1 or 2 weeks before an admin patrols the thread, the first responding admin may choose to either remind the OP, or otherwise select the timeframe themselves by directly editing the opening post and leaving their signature on their edit
2. Timeframes may not be changed once selected -- if the opening post has been edited, then the timeframe to be used is the earliest one which can be found in the edit history

Note: I know the Council doesn't exist anymore, but for major changes in this Wiki the community still needs to be asked.

I am submitting a request for approval of my new Star Warfare 2: Payback clan called "Division of Destruction". The clan will be primarily PvE oriented, although it will not have anything against PvP. 

I am eligible to make a clan (edits: 2880, time since joining: 2 years, 7 months 5 days).
